    Alice, why would you want snow? There will still be pre-school at Blisshaven Academy, unless it’s a full-scale blizzard (although I know that D.C. and area has a hard time dealing with any snow), and you will get to be with your friends there. So, save the ice cubes for something more worthy—such as a tall adult beverage for Peter. He deserves it….

    Growing up in the frozen north, I never heard of this tradition, nor Calvin’s for that matter. Is this popular in climes less fortunate?
