Maybe we should only have immigrants come form Norway. A county with better medical care and a higher standard of living and well being than American’s. Why on earth would people from a country like Norway come here to see their average standard of living decline?
We’re all such a broken record about these issues, and rightly so, but me point is that our own times and troubles only matter in context.
Mr. Trump, McConnell, Koch, Murdoch, et al will be dust soon enough, but what really counts is preserving the ideals our country was founded on for the kids. All of the kids, on and on into distant future.
Short version – losing now ain’t no big deal, but losing (or winning) the wrong way cannot be allowed to happen.
