I’ve never been to a comic expo, but I know one cousin and their family have (the cousin’s spouse posts it on Facebook).

I’d rather have my kid going to a Comic Expo, than some other places I can think of.

Baldo wants to see an expo for something he’s not really into. That would get him out seeing new people, and expand his horizons. I’m all for it!

My 2 older kids would love this stuff. They saw all the superhero cartoons when they were littler. My older kid loves superhero movies and games, and knows them all. They both like some of the basics like Pokemon, (Minecraft) and Naruto, and now my son is getting into gaming, and my daughter into anime beyond Naruto.

Personally, I am more of a Star Trek/Doctor Who girl who watched Sailor Moon from beginning to end when on study abroad in Spain, but I love that they have found interests that take them a little out of their suburban US environment. I would love it if they had the energy and desire to go to an expo for new and different things. I just don’t know if any of us could ever afford something like ComicCon!

There are three “Love and Rockets” guys.Mario, Gilbert and Jamie Hernandez. They’re awesome not because they’re Hispanic. They’re awesome cause their work is legendary and been going on for almost 4 decades, And who the heck is that character suppose to be???
