On a “movie” theme, I have the recurring mental picture of the bandit leader in the movie “The Magnificent Seven” replying to the offer of badges, only it’s Republicans in my mental movie and they’re saying, “Morals, we don’t need no stinkin’ morals!” It’ a hard picture to shake, as they are constantly ‘reaffirming’ my take on their current positions!
