    Sounds about right.

    In the city I used to live in, there was a painted ad on an old brick building for a type of bicycle that ceased production before WW2. Always wondered what kind of paint could last that long.

    seems so much like human nature – the reason for the argument/fight not relevant anymore, but doesn’t stop the argument/fight.

    I didn’t know you come from Chicago, Greg. Home of the educators who steal the gift cards intended for students (big news story. Two years in a row. Anybody paying attention out there???). A school board wrangling over removing a years-gone mural is penny-ante compared to the bunch in charge today.

    In 1984 I remember sitting in gym ignoring the coach, when I noticed something looked odd about the flag. I counted the stars in the canton and there were only 48. They’d never bothered replacing it!
