That should end any arguments about whether or not Republican souls can be bought and paid for by this deformed tax bill. There’s definitely not going to be a lot of money coming down the trickle-down line. But the Republicans have made sure that it’s all going to profit themselves and their rich donators.
I really think they want an oligarchy with overtures of empire. It all smacks of the fall of the Roman Republic. Kill off the old and weak, the sick and helpless with no healthcare, no food, no work, then keep education beyond reach, of even the lower level rich people, then do a little warfare, and then take over as lords and whatever. The serfs will love us when we feed them! I can’t decide if it will be hunger games or bread and circuses.
Insurance works to amortize the expense of medical care due to injuries and disease, the larger the pool of subscribers, the lower their cost. I walk and run with a limp because a self-styled libertarian, one dark morning, texting on his cell phone while driving, wandered into the wrong lane and into the shoulder where I was running and sent we flying violently into the asphalt. He had no insurance, or registration, or even a license to encumber his feeling of independence. I had never had a close encounter with a person who felt that contributing a fair share to have insurance was objectionable. Because of the injuries, I had to pay an outrageous amount of money for each insurance each month and was very grateful when the mandatory enrollment to health insurance feature of the ACA made my payments affordable. Having insurance was something that my Republican family taught me that conservatives do as not having it is risky. Investing was another, so one could grow their net worth and retire comfortably. The lack of deliberation and collaboration in the tax plan worries me, especially the gamble on the debt. The risks that GOP take in turning their backs on truth, math, science, economics, and especially the 70% who are not members makes me wonder if the libertarian ideology has gone too far in influencing their ideology … to a point that is harmful to a republic and civilized society.
They are hoping the middle class changes their tune when they get that extra $6 in their paycheck. Even if everything else costs an extra $10. Why would any corporation spend its windfall on workers?

ENRICHING TOO THEIR MINIONS – {rhyme}
In Putocracy’s ugly dominions,
also enriched are their minions.
The RepCong enrich too themselves
as rich people’s Santa Claus elves.
Not good, – in us citizens’ opinions.

Both Corker and McCain have sealed their “legacies”.

The “Corker Kickback” now has a place in the political dictionary (just like the “Kilgore Kick” over a century ago.)

Republicans have made specific magical predictions, but how do we make them pay when those predictions fail to come true?

It took almost a year, but the elephant in the china shop finally found a peanut. Our wonderful tax dollars at work and duly sacrificed.
