I had one that would run to meet me when I got home, then jump up to drape himself around my neck. He would ride there as I did yard work. Even if I wasn’t wearing a shirt, he would never scratch me.
I’ve done this with every kitty I’ve had except my Maine Coon who’s too heavy. While they probably didn’t love it, they tolerated it, and I only did it for a few seconds. Nothing sweeter than a kitty stole lol!

Been there tried that. Sometimes it works for a little or longer time. Great to do if the kitty is willing.
