    The strip has me wondering about the etymology of the word GEEK.

    Wikipedia informs that the word stems from English dialect and middle low German with a large number of influences originating in the 18th and 19th centuries.

    Remember back then, this was a decent comic strip. Cartoonists didn’t show what birds in comic strips “do” now (and in animated cartoons as well).
