The Baptists are strong believers in separation of church and state since their founding. Moore asserts that he is a Baptist, but does not believe in separation of church and state.Christians are supposed to be humble as an act of their faith. Is Moore really humble? Is Moore attempting to present his personal beliefs as Christianity?
Am I truly looking ar a Mike Ramirez posting that criticizes a Republican? It must be a mistake. It has to be mistake. Where is the band playing "The world turned upside down?
Lil’ Mikey! Must have felt going after Franken first was a little too obvious. Had to do some catching up. Evangelicals who support Trump and Moore are going to have some explaining to do one day.
Three of Alabama’s largest newspapers have published an editorial calling Senate candidate Roy Moore “grossly unfit for office”.
“Roy Moore simply cannot be a US Senator. Even if his party and many of its adherents still think it possible, it is unthinkable – for his state, and his country,” wrote the AL.com editorial board, which feeds major papers in Birmingham, Mobile, and Huntsville, Alabama.
Note to the young ’uns…If you plan to run for office in the future, you’ll need lots of money and a life that is beyond reproach. Especially in the age of the internet.
@MAGIC WALNUT You are so right! Socially, politically, and in business, everything that has been posted on the internet is accessible to someone. Even if it has been deleted where it was originally posted. The younger generation needs a great deal of discretion in order to get ahead in the world (not a pun). Human resources do internet researches when hiring potential candidates. If you’ve up screwed up legally, or even posted foolishly stupid remarks, or done things that are morally unethical and it’s gotten onto the internet, they’ll probably find it and you won’t get that job that you wanted! Sticking to the straight and narrow maybe boring but in the long run it will make life so much easier. From what I’ve heard even potential mating partners do research on you at the various sites promoting such things.
I suspect that at the time those commandments were written (engraved?) it was perfectly normal to “date” underage girls.. and that is why the notion was omitted.
“Every white Alabama citizen could join the NAACP and erect a statue of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., in their front yards, and Northern liberals would still trash the state.”
True, but only for their failings on the football field.

If we could take the money and ego out of politics and replace them with integrity and humility, we might have a functional government.

I’ve never been nosey enough to do those kinds of researches but maybe we should do that on politicians before we vote for them?

Kudos to Ramirez for calling out his own side.

^^Uncle Joe, he is not.
The Republican party has jettisoned him (unless he gets elected) and Ramirez is trying to look ‘fair and balanced’.
.
You’ll notice that pussy grabbing is not mentioned and NO Trump policies are criticized, especially the tax cuts for the rich.
