In my fifty years of reading BC I seem to recall several other lady characters, but I can’t remember their names. As far as the scrolls………………you wouldn’t want to give the winged animal a hernia by having them carry the tablet.
So this guy is getting a haircut, a shave and a manicure, and he asks the manicurist if she’d like to go out with him. The manicurist replies that she can’t because she’s a married lady. The guy then says to her “Well why don’t you ask your husband if it’s OK? I’m sure he wouldn’t mind”, and the manicurist replies “Ask him yourself. He’s shaving you.” It’s an old joke, but somehow seemed relevant to today’s strip.
