Surprisingly to me, that clearly does NOT reflect many, if not most, of the women voters in the USA. They voted for Don Juan in large numbers.

The best thing that will come out of the Trump presidency is that Democrats now know what happens when you don’t vote.

I think many have taken the “walk of shame” after the 2016 election night. “What was I thinking to have hooked up with that guy? Where is my aspirin?”

Tuesday night victories come as women, who constitute more than half of the US population, conitnue to be underrepresented at every single level of government. The US dropped four spots on the World Economic Forum’s Global Gender Gap Index, because women’s political empowerment has declined, reaching its lowest level since 2007. Women pushed Northam over the finish line. Jenny Durkan former US attorney, won the Seattle’s mayoral race. Donica Roem ousted a 13-term incumbent on jobs, schools and traffic. Vi Lyles clinched Charlotte mayorship as its first-ever African American woman mayor. Two women candidates emerged from the crowded field of hopefuls vying to succeed term-limited Mayor Kasim Reed in Atlanta.

Now I understand why it looked as though Donnie was toasting with red wine while everyone else was toasting with white wine in their glasses in China.

In a cock-eyed sort of way, the Presidential election may have fallen the Democrat’s’ way in a very big sense : If Hillary were in office when the 2020 election comes around, instead of Trump, the Democrats may have had a more difficult time of changing Congress in time for reapportioning.
