This sort of fabulation has been going on for half a millennium. And there were already a whole lot of people who had only a shaky grip on reality to begin with.

Lalo stop confusing theory with hypothesis. Bad enough the rank-and-file do it. A theory is proven, a hypothesis needs to be tested.
