They are cleaning up the beach on “Beach Cleanup Day”, but every day of the year the seagulls eat dead fish, jellyfish, etc. that wash up on the beach.
Beach Cleanup Day is once a year. Beach trashing day is every day. Maybe the gulls could start voiding their bowels on the people leaving trash.

What do they get? They get a gourmet meal every day, and they have the nerve to gripe about it.
