I’m with Heart, here…you shouldn’t have to explain your costume. I get that some people want to be unique, or elaborate, or hip, or whatever…but wouldn’t you feel pretty lame having to explain your costume to someone, only to get a blank stare in return?
That reminds me of long, long time ago, a friend told me she was watching “Rich Man, Poor Man” and wanted to talk about the show, and I said that I was watching something else at the same time slot. Even with that show being at the library later on, I never did “get to it”…..Fast forward to today with the cable shows. But this time I say that I don’t have time to watch this or that because I just don’t. I don’t know where people find the time to watch all those cable shows, what with work, kids, housekeeping, etc….So I don’t think I’ll “get to it” either, but I’ve read enough about it in short blurbs that I could carry on a conversation about it.
