Why listen to Kalam talk about inner peace and all? He is called India’s “missile man” who helped develop their ICBMs and was heavily involved in their first nuclear weapons test. He worked as a scientist in their defense industry and then, became a scum-sucking politician and president of India. So he has done all that he abhorred in his little quote and then some. He has connived and lied his way to the top in both academia and politics. Maybe Mr Tan should research his quote’s backgrounds a bit before just taking what they say from a book of quotations and running with it.
