Does it really matter? My little Cindy-Lou Hoo is just the little fuzzball that loves me mostest! I have no clue as to her ancestry. Personally, I could hardly care less.
My vet labeled any small dog of unknown breed as a terrier mix, the mid sized ones were lab mix unless there was some obvious collie, husky, or shepherd feature then it would be lab/collie, lab/husky, or lab/shepherd.

Yeah, my two pups know they are Half Jack Russel and Half Aussie Shepherd, but they won’t tell anyone, either!
