Too many Christians in the US disregard the actual teachings of Jesus Christ. They push discrimination, blame the poor by calling them lazy even though most are the “working poor” and elderly, and want to control women’s reproduction. Funny that they can ignore multiple divorces despite divorce being repeatedly condemned in the Bible, far more than homosexuality and abortion (latter mentioned but NOT condemned), don’t care about poor children or supporting prenatal care ((just pro-birth) and spend far too much time worrying about forcing people to say “Merry Christmas” even though “Happy Holidays” is more inclusive.
