Decades after having graduated from high school, I still have that dream in which either I can’t find my locker or I find it but can’t remember the combination.
My classes were nowhere near my locker, and my bus was one of the first to leave in the afternoon, so I gave up on lockers by the second month my freshman year. Luckily I had a big back pack.

My locker for all four years of H.S. was an end Locker, all I had to remember which hall it was in.
