This would work if the American people voted their interests, and there wasn’t so much money to make off of the old parties. There are plenty who are benefiting from the current mess we are in.
“Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t” is the standard excuse for avoiding change. Of course there are NO problems with our two opposing parties system that always delivers the best possible solutions to “we the people” of the US efficiently and effectively in a timely manner with smooth transitions between administrations.
