    When a community loses its young workforce and the median age starts climbing, we see one of the weaknesses in capitalism. A few decades ago, some of the companies I consulted for, had plants in Puerto Rico to exploit lower labor costs, but as the young saw opportunities for better pay in the states, they moved … starting a degenerative cycle. We have the same issues in rural America and the only actions from the political parties are blaming each other rather than working out a solution.

    OK. For the last couple of weeks I haven’t been able to see any of the political cartoons. I’ve written to GoComics, and they haven’t been able to solve the problem.
