    The founders did not anticipate political parties having so much power that an incompetent office holder – – that the public disapproved of – – would not be removed. The founders had seen the negative effects of political parties, the influence that the wealthy and power seekers could have. They warned us repeatedly and set up an impeachment process to protect us from unsuitable leaders … we ignored their advice and now have the government we deserve.

    The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 44% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-six percent (56%) disapprove.

    The latest figures include 28% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 47% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -19.
