I find it surprising that I am defending flight crew, but we must realize that the airline companies are rapidly making their jobs almost impossibly difficult. They are trained people who find themselves forced into impossible situations. Put the blame on the airline companies where it belongs.
Later this month they should rerun the comics from July 15 thru 20 of 1963. It was regarding the solar eclipse on July 20, 1963 and Linus advising everyone not to look directly at the sun. On the day of the eclipse he was standing in the rain with his pinhole projector and Lucy asked him, “So, how’s the eclipse?”
