Bravo Joel! Speak truth to power. We are a militaristic people, though, so you can shout till you’re blue in the face and it’s unlikely to challenge the war machine. We like to inflict violence in service of important principles. Like Haliburton and Exxon.

Maybe, if we are lucky, we can sell them all the tanks, aircraft, etc., that the Congress made us buy that even the military didn’t want.

Jobs to make weapons to kill people, its the Republican way. No jobs to rebuild our infrastructure, billionaires need their Republican tax breaks.

There always seems to be a large gap between what the majority of people want and what our “representatives” actually budget and legislate. I think our “representatives” forget that they swore to work for ALL the people not just their base.

    " …

This marks the first time in eight years that as many Americans have expressed a preference for a bigger as a smaller government. Support for bigger government has increased 7 percentage points since last September, when more said they preferred a smaller government offering fewer services (50%) than a bigger government providing more services (41%). The last time the public was divided on this question was in October 2008, just prior to the election of Barack Obama.

The partisan gap in views of the size of government remains as wide as ever. About three-quarters (74%) of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents say they prefer a smaller government providing fewer services, while just 21% want a bigger government. Views among Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents are nearly the reverse: By 65% to 27%, more prefer a bigger government with more services.

They killed our children. They hate us for no other reason except that they’re evil. So now we need to kill several thousand of theirs all over again as we did with “Shock and Awe” in Iraq in 2003. THIS time it will work.

The pres. will get you a great deal on those military armaments so our borrowed money will buy you more to use on us.

I see the Republicans have already forgot 9/11. I thought they were never going to forget.

If it gets a $100 million “donation” to Ivanka, it has got to be good.
