If the House and Senate were functional organizations they would establish by mutual agreement, a set of concrete standards of conduct for the all federal officials to abide by. Instead we seem to have a prominent presence of attorneys in each body, who pride themselves on being able to provide truly ambiguous interpretations of suitable conduct such that one party’s good is another party’s bad.

Then there is Trump Tripe Secret / Seriously Clueless Ignorance

Of course, there may be some overlap.

After Trump’s presidency, we won’t have shrunk government to the size to fit it in a washtub. But we won’t have to worry about president’s taxes, foreign interests, stock portfolios or family members. It will all be allowed now. On top of Supreme court judges being decided on whether your party has a majority vote or not. I know the Republicans wanted to shake things up, but why do they always make things worse?
