Our daughters learned at an early age that begging brings an automatic “NO”…and we’re both VERY stubborn.

Someday some rock band will turn that line into a hit song… nah, it will never work.

But sometimes, Jason, you get things you DON’T want, so watch it!

Hypocrite.

I wouldn’t have said “please” to him. I would have made it mandatory, with consequences if he doesn’t do as he’s told.

But if you try sometimes, well you might just find, you get what you need.
