The Education Dept is eager to privatize every school, the EPA is now the Extreme Pollution Agency, the Attorney General shows only contempt for the rule of law, HUD is headed by a loon, the Energy Agency is headed by a fool who worships at the feet of the oil companies, etc., etc., so Nordstrom’s is obviously THE most important news item.
He is doing “just as promised”. No matter what he does, at some time he promised it. At some other time, however, he promised to do just the opposite, depending on what made the crowd cheer. The objective is convincing himself that other people consider him to be just as wonderful as he keeps trying to convince himself that he is, because, deep down, he realizes that he isn’t.
