The problem with the corporate sellout Democratic leadership is they’re not actually fighting. If you don’t vote in favor of confirming a cabinet member unless you approve of them. It’s down right shameful how corporate sellout Dems go along with Republicans while telling their constituents they’re fighting for the voters. If I wanted that kind of two faced BS, I’d have voted for Hillary.

@JMATTADAMS: I see you managed to miss the 3.75 MILLION person March for Women, which was COMPLETELY peaceful, as well as the Rally against the Muslim Ban, which was, again, COMPLETELY peaceful. Try reading the real news.

When they came for the Jews, I did not protest, because I was not a Jew… (Look it up, Jmatt!)

Wait, didn’t Ted tell us that there was no difference whether a Republican or Democrat won the election? Try not to choke while you’re eating your words, Rall.

If Bernie Sanders had known just how willing his fellow Democrats were to rig the primary game in favour of their anointed candidate would he have taken the third party route? I can think of no better argument against a strictly two party system than the US for the last thirty years.

All third parties fail, they have no chance of being on equal levels with the two and only official parties in this country. It would be a loss. Here he can rally the young who have no problem with Socialism even though we have used it for many decades here.

Dump the junk about political parties. Look for who is willing to work and fight for a fair shake for all of us:

    https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/13/opinion/the-power-of-disruption.html?action=click&pgtype=Homepage&clickSource=story-heading&module=opinion-c-col-left-region&region=opinion-c-col-left-region&WT.nav=opinion-c-col-left-region

Political party affiliations don’t make a bit of difference; if the rest of us are willing to talk to each other (and listen to each other) just maybe we can turn things around to some extent. What do you want for yourselves and your families? Are you willing to try to understand and cooperate with others who want similar things but may have a different way of getting there? If it’s “all my way or no way”. then we’re doomed. Figure it out, folks, or we will surely become a thing of the past.

Authoritarianism denies contrary speech and much more depending on its severity.
