Heart: My poor little mouse Christmas ornament...lost somewhere and all alone... Heart: Wait! What was that prayer Mrs. Angelini taught me..."St. Anthony, St. Anthony, please come down...something is lost and can't be found." Heart: And if that doesn't get things moving..how about a good old fashioned "please"!

Already said “please” in the “prayer”.

Probably in her room under a stack of dirty laundry in the closet since last Christmas because she didn’t want to put the ornament away with the rest.

True story: my grandmother went to a wedding shower where St. Anthony medals or some such were being given to the guests. She picked one up and jokingly said, “St. Anthony, find me a boyfriend!”
Later that day, she met my grandfather.

I will admit that my Catholicism is way lapsed, but along with our regular chuch, my parents and aunt went to the local St. Anthony’s to pray I’d get into med school. I did and they were always convinced the prayer did it. I still pray, but I liked to think my hard work played a part in it…

Dr. Beth – Every day I thank God for yesterday’s accomplishments and pray for diligence and guidance for today’s (and being a meical librarian, to be an instrument of His healing).
