Just a little partisan, dontcha think? What is incredible is the dissonance between Republican supporters and the entire rest of the WORLD. The WORLD looks at the Republican candidates and sees clowns, looks at Donald Trump and sees a total cpher… a lying, cheating, bullying cipher – and the WORLD sees Obama as serious, composed, occasionally wrong (who isn’t) but far far better than just about anyone in recent history. Mr Ariail, history will be far kinder to Obama than to you.

And I just love how so many keep blaming Bush STILL at this time. Hey – O’Bummer and his team has had almost 8 years to finally get it right and instead, we’re far worse off then ever. (And believe me – Bush ended up being a prelude to this disaster we have now and what faces us in terms of next President ain’t looking too much better no matter what.)

History will definitely remember how well the House, Senate, POTUS and SCOTUS reconciled their differences, and worked efficiently and effectively for the American people as our Constitution outlines.

Can you even begin to imagine the destruction and damage a Trump presidency would leave behind!

Obama’s approval rating is at 55%, one of the higher ratings in the fourth quarter. George Bush was 27%; Bill Clinton one of the highest at 58% despite GOP witch hunts. Doesn’t look like much of a clunker.

Con’s lack of education and short attention span show through daily.I think he works for MSNBC or is at least on the DNC email list to get the party line out to the other easily duped people who don’t work or pay taxes.

How many died in wars “W” and Cheney, with Rumsfeld started, that we are still not free of? How many have died in wars Obama STARTED? Like Bill Clinton with no casualties, like to stop Serbian murders (“Christians” killing Muslims.), done successfully, or even our aid to NATO in Libya (Hillary didn’t start that, and Trump originally supported the intervention to save lives.), show that diplomacy, with a big stick only when necessary, is more viable.

Is Robert aware he’s assigned 44 to the car, the number of Lewis Hamilton, three time World Formula One champion, and like Obama a mullato? Hamilton’s dad is black, his mom white, and he’s a BRITISH CITIZEN, not “African American”. Just a thought on “PC” perhaps?

Obama is the best president since FDR. I admit that’s not a very high bar. Maybe Eisenhower is next.

What a lame cartoon. Obama has been the most successful president of my lifetime, and the only one who was scandal-free. I wish the Republicans had been willing to work with him for the benefit of America. But no. There is no solution other than throwing them out, since they refuse to govern.

Eisenhower isn’t even on the list. He only made two significant speeches. “You can’t legislate morality” became the battle cry of Massive Resistance and split the county, but is never quoted. The one about the military/industrial complex is frequently quoted, but never acted upon. And that doesn’t get into the Kay Summersby affair.

There were no presidents before that? Bay of Pigs was an Eisenhower plan, implemented despite objections from Stevenson (who, in turn, is the only US ambassador to the UN personally respected by the delegates). The Missile Crisis was as good as could be expected: obsolete US missiles out of Turkey in exchange for no Soviet troops in the Western Hemisphere.

    .

Clinton: better for what he tried than for what he did. Totally suckered in agreeing to Republican definition that only included vaginal sex (which he did not have), as though the GOP wouldn’t switch to most folk’s definition to attack him. Agreed, reprehensible all round.

    .

Truman: You must put him in historical context. In those days, VP had two jobs: break senate ties and attend state funerals. He was totally unprepared, but was able to become prepared in an amazingly short time.

    .

Carter: Total corporate mass media opposition throughout, particularly on environmental and ballot sanctity issues. Plus, of course, the Reagan/Komeini behind the scenes dealings in arms and hostages to make sure Carter only lasted one term. Still the model of after office behavior.
