Got home last night about 6:00 our time. Rain and wind only slowed me down in that it slowed others in the road down. Traffic was light. That means the smart ones stayed home…

I keep trying to post pics of Yum Yum on facebook, but it won’t work for me. I am feeling moderately disgruntled.

Oliver, you do look cute in the bellhop suit. Those darn suitcases that just jump in the incinerator are trying to get you in trouble.

I, too, miss the pictures. I don’t recall any offensive photos but if there were they were very rare. Perhaps they were on other comic strips that I don’t read. Bring back the pictures!

oh, Neal, so sorry about what happened with your wife being bitten by the cat! I have been there. My Misty once bit me in the same place (this was several years ago – Misty has since crossed the Rainbow Bridge). I don’t know what set her off, but she bit my the thumb joint on my right hand. I knew immediately it was infevted because it started to swell so fast and it felt hot and I had a fever. It was very late at night, so after washing the wound, I went to bed, but went to the doc first thing the next morning. I was prescribed peniciilin and told not to use my right hand at all for a week because the infection could spread up my arm and I would lose all use of that arm. Needless to say, I became left handed for a week. I found I could do everything with my left hand that I could with my right except one thing. Can’t wash the left arm with the left hand. I hope she’s better soon. And she should not use that right hand for a while until the infection clears up!

I am distressed at the problems some of you are having seeing the pictures I post to the Ten Cats Fan Club page on Facebook. I wish I had a suggestion other than the ones made yesterday.

@LadyKat I find posting pics to fb much easier than to GC. My pics are taken right from my PCs photo site. For GC I needed Photobucket to first receive pics from my PC. Keep trying.

Neal, I hope your wife’s thumb continues to feel better. Poor her and poor kitty having that seizure. Do let us know how the kitten adoptions this weekend go. The Little guys deserve the best forever homes.

That little Oliver in his adorable bellhop suit….I vote to let him keep the outfit…the heck with the incinerated suitcases.. and, Oliver, the job should STILL be yours.

For those of you that know about my housing (or lack of) situation. Okay, gang, I need good thoughts. I didn’t sleep last night because I was sooooo excited. I had gotten a call yesterday from one of the places I had put in my application for housing. Missed the call, so called and left a message first thing this morning. I kept hoping for a call back. I had to go out for a little while and I went past her office since it is close to where I live now. She wasn’t in. I fell asleep in my chair this afternoon, but the phone never rang. I assume she didn’t make it in today. I am hoping for a call Monday morning. It would be a one bedroom, subsidized (as I need), there don’t seem to be any windows on the north side of the building so I would have sun for the “kids”, and they don’t plan on selling that building. I need everyone to think good thoughts over the weekend (going to be a long one for me) and I will let everyone know as soon as I hear from someone. Thanks,
