That’s why regulations are so bothersome for the Republican business people. It makes it very difficult for them to cheat their customers and get away with it.

Never mind a goofy recession, lets go for it! A repeat of unregulated bank free for all madness, a repeat of the Great Disaster of Good Ol’ 1929, Only the Best Depression! Then a Triple World War to fix the economy!

The rich people who buy (or rent) GOP politicians will pay $10 to avoid paying $1 in taxes. It’s the principle of the thing.

And the exec responsible gets a $140M golden handshake, and the bank pays three days profits in fines. However will they survive?

Prosecutors? As in someone being punished?

Right. Except for the part about being accountable for their actions.

“Prosecutors” propose fines, which the perpetrators are allowed to negotiate, followed by the corporation paying a ‘settlement’.No actual criminals are harmed, threatened, or even criticized in this process.

And it’s all nice ‘n’ legal.
