Until the minimum wage rises to $100,000, the USA will always have the best government that money can buy.

Trump, not being a billionaire, would be forced to use the “millionaires” entry. Of course, Trump is taking tons of money from the Russian mob these days…….

As usual the Republicans set up a terrible system, and when utilized by a Democrat (to help others of all things!) they will be called out on it. Free market? Tell that to people who paid for Clinton’s speeches. Dark money in politics? That should only be for American corporations that help republicans. Emails? Those can be stored any where and deleted at will by the right, god help any democrat caught using an email. Please, this is just another in the long list of fake make-em-ups that will never stick to her. Because you don’t start with actual facts, by the time you get to the funny scandal part you are in made up fantasy land.

Why did the Clintons even bother establishing a foundation to fight AIDS in Africa when the Gates Foundation is already so well-established and so well-recognized? Why not become public spokespeople for this “worthy” charity? Is it true that 10-15% is all that reaches the needy? Since the Clinton supporters don’t really care, at this point, what difference does it make?

Conservative pundit George Will about Trump’s entanglement with Russia (currently led by a war-crimes committing dictator):It is unclear whether any political idea leavens the avarice of Trump and some of his accomplices regarding today’s tormented and dangerous Russia. Speculation about the nature and scale of Trump’s financial entanglements with Putin and his associates is justified by Trump’s refusal to release his personal and business tax information. Obviously he is hiding something, and probably more than merely embarrassing evidence that he has vastly exaggerated his net worth and charitableness.

In Wednesday’s news conference, Trump said, “I have nothing to do with Russia.” Donald Trump Jr. says, “Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets. We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.”

Trump Sr. can end the speculation by providing information. If, however, he continues his tax information stonewall, it will be clear that he finds the speculation less damaging than the truth would be, which itself is important information.

Look into “Dark Money” given free rein by “Citizens United” and the Koch meetings with their friends, if you’re really interested in “pay to play”, as in win the game, disregarding all rules of propriety and law that decision allowed the super-rich.

11,500,000 people in Africa given access to affordable AIDS drugs.13.7 million vials of anti-malaria medicine to 2.1 million people, saving an estimated 52,000 lives. Some of the non-government donors she met with were people like the singer Bono and actor Ben Afflek. People for whom she couldn’t do any real favors and people she knew before she became SoS.

@neverhillaryI was about to suggest that you read the entire George Will column (though I was also about to warn you that some of the words in there have more than one syllable, and therefore you might find the column tricky….) but since you seem to be insane I will have no more truck with you. I mean, if ANYBODY in the world is giving “hundreds of thousands of tons of uranium”, I will pout until I get MY fair share!

A charitable foundation without money grubbing being secretly involved is beyond the ability of most Republicans to comprehend. The very idea of a foundation dedicated to actually helping sick and poor, supporting research in curing disease and saving thousands of lives seems abominable to Republicans without kickbacks. The simple act of giving without taking profit is always suspect. Your would-be leader would be the first to question this activity. Think of the constructive things a similar foundation could do with a tiny amount of Trumps wasted monopoly money.
