The “The Flat Earth Society” first claims that the disc of the Earth has “powerful gravitational forces”! Now, they claim- “There’s no such thing as gravity”! They can’t make up their minds!

Usually it’s well-rounded actors that win Oscars in comedy roles. It Happened One Night won several awards including Best Actor: Clark Gable, Best Actress: Claudette Colbert. Charles Coburn won Best Supporting Actor in The More the Merrier, Judy Holliday for Born Yesterday, Jack Lemmon for Mr. Roberts, etc. But even good full-time comedians like the Marx Brothers and Abbott & Costello never won. I was never a Peter Sellers fan though. Too Corny.

I went to one of the last (and rare) cons that Mr. Pratchett ever attended, with an eye on seeing him speak. I saw him in the hall once, but didn’t want to bother him. Then, as we were on our way home, I said a bad word, adding, “…I forgot to go see Pratchett!” .The End. Draw your own moral.

then when you’re tired of floating around in space you simply float back to earth and start all over again. ahhh the wonders of imagination – used to replace the reality of facts – thus making us all think we are the know it all and end it all of all knowledge and understanding of the universe.
