Mr. Payne, neither party is free trade anymore.

Free trade is an idea. In practice even the free trade agreements are full of agreements and qualifiers and barriers. The whole idea is to create an environment where all the parties are able to benefit to a degree. China, South America, and Africa are all trying to build large economic units so they might compete more effectively with the rest of the world. Donald Trump wants to become an isolationist again which would put us at significant economic disadvantage against the rest of the world.

It was a standard politician speech on Teleprompter. Lots of wild promises, no substance, although it did come across as pro-1%. Details to follow as soon as Ivanka’s staff makes them up.

This would still be better than trying to build an actual wall, and make Mexico pay for it, and expect it to actually keep anyone out. At least Clinton is working for the middle class.

Without crazy Trump there would be no president Hillary, thanks republicans!
