Always easier to ask for help from a fictional character than to actually do something to solve problems. Thoughts and prayers? Worthless.

Expecting a mythical figure to solve the problem is not going to help much. kind of the ostrich approach to danger.. stick your head in the sand.

Our Creator-God gave mankind free will and a brain-mind to think and choose. With most people choosing to believe Satan’s Lies such as “evolution” instead of Bible truth that we owe our Creator our attention and obedience since He made us and gave us our Manual of Operation for good success in living; asking Yahweh to cancel the consequences would be like jumping off a tower and praying for God to cancel gravity and its effects when we hit dirt!-Prayers must be offered to the right God, in a spirit of trust and willingness to obey His answers. The test of the ungodly praying to an Idol has been demonstrated many times in the Holy Scriptures, especially 1 Kings 18: 25-41, Prophet Elijah defeats 450 priests of the Idol “god” Baal.

Did you also see the posts where people in dallas, all colors, were lining up to hug police officers, or the post where a black women and white officers were at the same convenience store, the white officers asked how the lady was doing, twice, the second time she answered, “tired”, the officer admitted he was also a few more words were exchanged and they hugged and she cried in a release of pent up emotions..Or any number of others, including BLM members in dallas and across the country, commenting on the good of most police.

Prayer as a solution, medical example:“Scientific evidence does not support healing as a treatment for cancer. But many people say that it can increase peace of mind, reduce stress, relieve pain and anxiety, and may strengthen the will to live. Some studies support this. Some people say that it helps them to feel better and helps them to cope with cancer symptoms.”Read more at http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/about-cancer/cancers-in-general/treatment/complementary-alternative/therapies/healing#PbZgVH0iTfWkIYuh.99

It seems that as many times as our Congress has prayed that the violence would end the results have been the same as they are medically. Intense prayer — meditation — would produce a peroid of relaxion which might allow clearer thinking, though.

Last I heard, if you know you’re being prayed for, it actually reduces the chance of getting better. Basically, it was “They’re praying for me, I’d better get better”, putting more stress on the sick person.
