It’s wonderful that we have a constitution that outlines a method of cooperative representation to resolve issues and avoid fireworks by thoughtful deliberation.

A nice evening to sit back and relax and watch the fireworks and take your mind off of the division. Remember how we got here, it took us all standing together.

American gung-ho chickenhawks need to know what that “rocket’s red glare, bombs bursting in air” do to the human body, there’s no glory there, they mean death, been there. That’s why I hate 4th of July fireworks, and must be where I can see them, not just hear ’em. Son, also combat veteran, same way.

Twclix: I have long stated that those who hate war the most are those who were “good at it”. It’s why, though not a pacifist, I hate war intensely and we don’t need to keep starting them. Which, “war lover” chickenhawks in the civilian sector are one thing, but I also find that those “veterans” who say they loved war, tended to be REMFs, or really, totally, nuts.
