I’m guessing by “this one” they’re referring to Poncho! I hope we get to see Chazz in the next strip.

In a strip a long time ago, it was said that Chazz picked Poncho because he seemed to have the most “spunk,” so I’m guessing this is the moment!

Little did Chaz know then how condescending Poncho would make his life.

nah, Poncho’s just jealous of someone not picking him first! Agree with Powerboy, I sure wouldn’t want a Poncho in my house…

I think Whitey got picked - and Poncho can’t believe anyone would pick any other puppy but him.

I’m hoping it’s whitey, he needs to go to a good home(hopefully). I disagree with hildigunnur…I think a Poncho would be a lot of fun! My Westie is pretty close.

Well, it wasn’t Porcho who got chosen first…that’s why he’s dancing…to bring attention to himself.

Porcho/Poncho WASN’T picked, and that is why he is dancing to get the future owner’s attention. Geez, another joke ruined by having to explain it.

I thought that Poncho (Porcho) was the last to get picked, hence they found him alone under a porch with his plank of wood, (this is all assumption though)

Amen, algurka. Need the 8x10 glossy photos with the circles and the arrows, and the paragraph on the back.

My feeling is that it was Blotch who was picked first, simply because there’s least reason to assume otherwise.

Next to go, I think, will be Whitey, and Porcho will be REALLY upset that his “defective” sibling was chosen over him.

That’ll leave Porcho and Orlando. If I remember correctly, Poncho was unaware that Orlando had been adopted by a millionaire, while Orlando was aware that Poncho had taken Plankie. So I’m guessing that Chazz will come in and Porcho will move heaven and earth to avoid the shame of being picked last, and when he (smugly) leaves Orlando behind he adds insult to injury by taking Plank of Wood with him. We’ll then see (maybe) the millionaire taking Orlando simply because he’s the only one left.

I can think of scenarios by which Whitey goes before Blotch, or Orlando goes before Porcho, but I’d bet $5 that the last two will be Orlando and Porcho.

So much for, “I’ll never leave you mom”, Porcho.

I agree with you, fritzoid. Blotch-Whitey-Porcho-Orlando. But who knows really? I guess we’ll find out sooner or later. Hopefully sooner

@fritzoid: I don’t think so. Remember, Poncho took Plankie during December 2007, not when he got adopted

    Where’s Blotch’s blotch?

^ I didn’t remember, but if that’s true (and I’m not doubting you) I’ll amend my prediction to that extent. I’m not even sure just when I began reading “Pooch Cafe”, so it might have been after that.

When we first began PY1 (actually, just before we began), Poncho was saying to Plankie “You’ve been with me since the beginning”, so I’ve been figuring he’s had it (uninterruptedly) all along.
