I drummed for a band called El Kabong. We played mainly 70’s and 80’s music. Everyone in the band was well over 55 years old. At a place called the South Beach Grill in Virginia Beach, we would attract an older crowd. The place got the nickname The Wrinkle Room.

El Kabong was a favorite. Huckleberry hound was a cartoonish hillbilly. The cartoonish New Yorker rabbit was best.Viva Slowpoke Rodriguez!
