If daddy were really rich, Alice could have a whole wing of he mansion to herself as her play-space! But I think she’s actually better off with Peter around. He’s a good dad; just a little confused by Alice. Who isn’t?

This reminds me of our youngest granddaughter. For a while, her parents called her “Fancy Nancy” after a storybook character. And she didn’t like her own name; she wanted to be called “Purple Sparkle”. (A little girl at church went through a spell when her name was “Roto-Rooter”.)
