The whole strategy is to keep Trump from taking the first ballot. Once that happens the delegates are free to vote for who ever they want. Unfortunately they seem to lack any viable candidates.

Four years ago, it was the “anyone bur Romney” parade and they ended up with Romney. This year it’s the “anyone but Trump” bandwagon. I’m sensing a pattern.
Anyone but Clinton, anyone but Trump, anyone but Bush, anyone but Cruz. Eventually the party of NO will run out of people to be against. Maybe if the right tried to be for something, they would not keep finding themselves in this position. No to the working people of our country. No to the constitutional duties they have. No to working together. No to the children gunned down at their schools. No to the soldiers who come home missing limbs. No to the hungry and poor. No to the elderly and minorities. No to everyone in the 99%, they know who is paying their bills. You have 4 years to get your act together and be for something, otherwise you’ll just have to find a bigger circus than Trump has provided.
