So did Snoopy think Charlie Brown was throwing him a goodie and reach out to snatch it before it hit the ground? Or did Charlie Brown accidently throw it down Snoopy’s throat? Either way, I bet Snoopy will keep his mouth shut whenever Pig-Pen tries giving someone candy.

Oh, how thoughtful of you, Pig-Pen, sharing your candy with others. You learned so well from your parents.

Poor old Snoopy… with all the goo and gunk that was likely on that candy, you wonder if he even knew what kind of candy it was…

Okay, they’re still running just Sundays even though the original date of the strip (12/5) is now PAST today’s calendar date. Why are they doing this?

If all we’re going to get is Sunday strips, then I’m done with “Peanuts Begins”.

I remember this strip well—it is so funny and is such a classic. I love the way Charlie Brown zooms that piece of candy with the kind of zip that he could never get onany of his pitches, the exclamation point that appears above Pig-Pen’s head when he lets it fly, and the squiggle above Snoopy in the last panel. Wonderful!!!
