Man, that’s just me when submerged in a good book, except maybe I give a glare to the person and proceed once more with the literature as if nothing had happened.
That’s my younger daughter. It’s become kind of a family source of pride to try to get her to jump or startle. We’ve even gotten friends involved. It’s near impossible to catch her off-guard.
