Guys would be okay with just the meat. It’s the ladies who think you need all that other stuff, but if you’d rather not just beat it, you might want to help.

Typical family cook out. Our family has one not elibrate.

I vote in favor of the meat cookers doing all the dish washing.

I seldom cook outdoors (cooking for 1) but when family is here my boys always cook and the gals help me with dishes. I never use good dishes outside but have a large set of pressed glass plates which are for daily use (microwave and other casual use). I make lots of things in advance (blanched and frozen veg, baked and frozen entrees, parbaked and frozen pizza, whole roasted turkey breast carved in sliced and separated in portions by pieces of plastic). I have the best (healthy and yummy) meals of anyone I know.

GOOD ONE. let THEM do the dishes!

Switch to Soy-products. They seem to go faster and you don’t get sick if they aren’t burned to the ground. ;)

The deal is: You do the clean-up (to the ladies’ satisfaction!) or next weekend, the ladies cook the meat and you do EVERYTHING ELSE on the female to-do list (including the clean-up). Which would YOU rather?
