A republican looks at two costumes. One is a vampire that resembles Donald Trump. The other is Frankenstein's monster, but it slightly resembles Ted Cruz. Republican: I guess I need to decide who I'm going to be this year.
If Ted gets the nomination, Hillary will sue him for violation of the Constitution. Ted was born in Canada. Ted is ineligible to run for president of the US.
This idea that Sen. Cruz is ineligible to run for President because he was born in Canada IS A MYTH THAT NEEDS TO BE NIPPED IN THE BUD. It is no more true than is the notion that Sen. McCain was ineligible to run because he was born in Germany. Both men were born as US citizens to US citizens living abroad, and both are eligible to run for Pres. Pres. Obama is not even in the same conversation, as he was born in the USA (Hawaii being one of the 50 last time I checked.)
The GOP exploited hate, anger and paranoia – just look at the comments on these boards! The stage was set for this monster pig Trump. The right-wing loathing has been going on since at least 2008 – Palin leading the angry crusade of animosity. Claiming Obama of “palling around with terrorists” and pushing socialism, suggesting ony certain areas of the US are “pro-American” It was this mean-spirited attempt to delegitimize Obama and his supporters that created the current monster. Calling Democrats Communists, shouting to kill the president or “off with his head.” The consequences were not called out – and the GOP was not discouraged when they started their hatred. Even the Republicans are subject to the anger that they have unleashed. The Republicans have accepted, encouraged and exploited the civil discourse, anti-Obama hatred and right-wing anger. The GOP raised the expectations of its Obama-detesting base and primed the pump for a xenophobic misogynist bigot and bully who bashes immigrants and calls for Muslim bans. Trump now finds a receptive audience in the GOP electorate.
This is suppositional, Gaunt. My point is that Cruz is an ultimate evil. I’m not going to wind up voting for either one. I’ll be voting for the better of two problematic candidates on the other side. Why? Because I’m a citizen, it’s my duty and it matters. No sophistries involved.

The Republicans could just concede this election to the Dems and start putting together a cohesive party to run in 2020.

Latest Real Clear Politics poll:
Hillary will beat Trump by 3.5 points, but lose to every other Republican in the race.
Sanders would beat every Republican running. _______________________________________________
The only way to put a Republican in the White House is to nominate Clinton.

Bernie would be vampire since he plans to tax anything that blinks.Trump would be more like Wolfman, wild, crazy and untamed (except for the hair).

I would vote for Trump over the walking evil that Cruz is. Then I would hit the john and wretch. God help us!
