One time we were given a gift of our choice of kitten from a Scottish Fold cattery. There were a number of tabby folds who were playing and being unbearably cute, but there was one little black & white who walked up to my husband, & kept turning her back on him. It was like, “I’m ignoring you. See? Hey, you! I’m ignoring you! Can’t you see that I’m ignoring you?” Eventually she gave up all pretense & climbed up in his lap. The other kittens didn’t stand a chance.
