employees don’t offer more than part time hours anymore – cheaper way to do business – so you have to take two jobs – i’ll take a side of hundreds and fifties please

Back when I worked at Borders (before they got rid of me by getting rid of my official position) they were doing everything they could to cut costs and that included cutting back hours on their full time workers. Officially full time meant that you worked anywhere from 32 to 40 hours and for the last few months before they “let me go” I was only working 32 hours a week and I was barely making my bills.
