Sign of the times. Probably better than being a zombie with a high tech phone.

Hmm, that was about "W"s speed, how many in his library?

Yes, I colored in War and Peace. The librarian was really annoyed by that when I returned the book.

I got one of those “adult” coloring books for Christmas. It’s so relaxing to grab the box of colored pencils and color inside the lines. Remember the Venus color by number boxed sets, complete with Venus colored pencils of course. Still remember the set I got when I was 8.

More fun than completing a jigsaw puzzle.

I have had “adult” (get your mind out of the gutter!) coloring books for about 20 yrs. Does that make me a hipster because I was doing it before it became a “thing?” :o)

There’s really something to it. I’m not into it, I do other things, but it gets you exercising parts of your brain you otherwise would let fallow.

We think of coloring in a book as childish activity. I get my childish activity done in other ways, much to the chagrin of my wife.

It’s never too late for a second (or third or fourth) childhood.

Much more portable than the old paint by number projects. Of course in today’s environment, political and anti-science, it seems too many who want to be considered adults, insist on coloring only outside the lines.
