Comics are forced to retain 1950s values because the audience is primarily children. What’s wrong with that?

This is absolutely wonderful cartoon. So many cartoons on Gcomics are reruns, you often get the feeling you are living way way back there. Then of course, the whiners start in complaining about it, but I enjoy seeing the reruns and some I have never see. Thanks for today, Satchel.

Speaking of obscure cultural references, let’s never forget what happened on April 11, 1954.
