A local criminal genius attempted a bank robbery in our then small town. The location was our first drive in bank teller window. Our robber, complete with red bandana mask, walked up, presented a hold up note, written on the back of one of his deposit slips. And as a bonus the teller knew him.
A guy here held up the bank 1 mile from the two town’s police stations, across the street from the diner, McDonald’s, 24 hour gas station and donut shop. He tried to escape during rush hour on a road blocked by construction. His career ending move was when he shot, from his stalled car, at police that had just upgraded to new 10mm pistols.
