I was never exposed to “Marco Polo” as a kid, and as an adult it took me forever to figure out what the point was. When I finally realized that there IS no point, it eased my mind considerably.

I think “Marco Polo” is akin to “Snipe Hunting”. Just another way to have fun at the expense of someone else. Just look how much money this family is saving, thanks to the imagination of (some) of their children.
